Companion Site ToWeaver Rifles
Welcome to Custom Rifles and Cartridges. This is a "companion" site to Weaver Rifles. Kevin Weaver receives a lot of inquiries regarding bullets, loads, techniques, etc. in addition to requests for building custom rifles. The purpose here is to handle more technical issues, discuss any concerns shooters have an interest in, pass along tips, suggestions, interviews, information, etc., that he feels would be helpful or in response to a shooters' request. This is NOT a specific caliber site. You will find info on everything from .17 thru .458. Most of the information will apply to cartridges, gunsmithing procedures, interviews, and so on across the spectrum of shooting. Weaver Rifles believes in safe shooting, highly accurate rifles, quality equipment and most of all, having fun. These pictures show Kevin shooting a 20-250 (Yup a 20-250!) with a 45 grain benchrest bullet at over 4300 fps using IMR 4350. The points of impact at 100, 200 and 300 yards. Each group is a ragged hole. Kevin is lucky enough to have a range behind his shop!
